The stillness and mindfulness encouraged during restorative yoga create a mental “pause” from the racing thoughts and worries that often accompany stress. As you focus on your breath and sensations in your body, your mind naturally becomes more centered and peaceful.

Restorative yoga focuses on passive, supported poses that allow your body to relax completely. By holding these poses for an extended time, your muscles, fascia, and joints release tension gently.
